The gardens at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park could be the perfect backdrop for your dream wedding.
Weddings are limited to less than fifty (50) people. (This total includes the wedding party, guests, family, friends, vendors, etc.)
There are two (2) locations to choose from for your wedding ceremony.
Weddings are available between the hours of 9:00am and 2:00pm only.

Note: We do NOT have any indoor facilities in the event of inclement weather. Please plan to have alternate arrangements with an off-site facility in the event of severe weather.
- Advance Reservation and Permit are required for weddings of any size.

- Your reservation is NOT confirmed until full payment is received and written confirmation is authorized by the Park. Do not make plans until you have received written confirmation.
- Weddings are available between the hours of 9:00am and 2:00pm only.
- There are two (2) locations available for your wedding; the Raised Brick Octagon by the Rose Garden and our Beachside location. Due to the impact on our environmental resources, we do NOT offer any other locations.
- For weddings held between November 15th through January 8th, please note the gardens may be decorated for the Holiday season.
- Please allow 7 business days for processing permits.
- Roses are not in bloom between March 1st through mid-April.
- Reservations may only be booked less than ten (10) months out. Your reservation must be sent within ten (10) months of your requested date, meaning you can not book a wedding date that is more than 10 months away. ex: if you are looking to book November 1, 2024, you may send in your request on or after February 1, 2024. Availability is not guaranteed.

- We do not offer tours of wedding areas, please visit the park during normal business hours, 8am-sunset, to self-tour the Gardens.
- Your permit provides you with a date, time and the location (Octagon or Beach) for your ceremony. We do NOT offer any on-site wedding coordinating, planning, officiating, rentals, equipment, vendors, etc.
- Please note, the use of drones is NOT permitted within or over the Park at any time.
- Pets and animals are NOT permitted in the Gardens and Beach areas. This includes the Stage, Seawall and Octagon locations.
- Food/Drinks are NOT permitted in the Formal Gardens (including the Stage area).
- Alcohol is PROHIBITED within all areas of the Park including the Picnic Pavilion location.
- Reservation is subject to cancellation with little to no advance notice due to unforeseeable events such as virus-related issues; high wind, flood, hurricane and tropical storm warnings, state of emergency statutes and park damage, etc. (As a note: Hurricane Season lasts through November 30th)

Wedding Date Availability Inquiry
- Use this form to check availability for your wedding.
- Advance Reservation and Permits are REQUIRED for weddings of any size.
- Once you have received confirmed acknowledgement of your date availability by email, you will receive a Permit Request form to complete and submit with your payment to book your Wedding Ceremony location.
- We are unable to accept Permit Request Forms and payments on site; please mail, email or fax using the information provided on the Permit Request Form.
